The 10th anniversary limited-edition reissue of Death Cab's debut album, something about airplanes, is available for pre-orders and will be shipping this week — the LP version of Death Cab's most recent release, narrow stairs (the first pressing of which includes a bonus 7" single) is also available for pre-orders, but won't be shipping until December. The EP offers listeners a chance to hear the pure heart of the music of What Made Milwaukee Famous — just 5 guys in a classic Texas studio with guitars, piano and simple percussion, performing their songs in one take. No bells, no whistles, no overdubs.

We'll be releasing a new digital single from David Bazan on November 4th, via iTunes and other digital stores, with two songs, american flags and a demo version of please, baby, please. Both songs will be released on 7" vinyl sometime in early 2009 — sign up to be notified when it's available for pre-orders.
